Do you like it? If you do buy it. I have one similar but its a darker grey

IHaveBrilloHair · 20/09/2018 15:50

No, the fur bit looks odd and it doesn't look very warm to me.
I'm looking for a new casual winter coat too and can't find one I like.

ConsiderHerWaysAndOthers · 20/09/2018 15:51

Love the coat colour and shape but the fur trim looks a bit roadkill to me. Might be nicer in person though.

windsunandabitofrain · 20/09/2018 15:55

I don't really know what I'm looking for either.
I do have a khaki parka off years ago which I do use for the freezing days...but I have no "nice coats "
If you know what I mean

I have a Merrel Haven, had it for years and love it, but it's very heavy and I want something lighter but still warm and snuggly that I can chuck on to go to the supermarket.

windsunandabitofrain · 21/09/2018 13:20

Went to look at it in store and it wasn't very nice.
Pleased I didn't order

Doesn't it have any buttons? I'm not sure how practical it would be if it was windy, as you'd be constantly trying to stop it from flapping about. There are, believe it or not, lots of nice, warm, stylish coats in Asda this year - most years, in fact. The most complimented garment I have ever owned was a cherry-red, draped collar belted wool coat from there, and it cost £40 at the time. I actually got people coming up to me in the street and asking me where I got it from, which had never happened to me before!

MoltonSilver · 21/09/2018 14:58

Cheap faux fur never looks good. If you want a cheap coat stay away from fur.

IHaveBrilloHair · 21/09/2018 15:51

I've just ordered this.

Oh that's nice, I think it would be too long on me though, I'm only 5 foot.

windsunandabitofrain · 21/09/2018 17:21

That Superdry jacket looks so warm

OP posts:
IHaveBrilloHair · 21/09/2018 17:28

I hope it is.
I really like Superdry though it's not popular on here.
I think it's good quality, washes well and lasts, I swear by their knickers!

Superdry at TKMaxx
www.tkmaxx.com/women/clothing/jackets+coats/jackets/blue-puff-jacket/p/35102382 £40

Skyejuly · 21/09/2018 17:45

I brought one like that and hated it on!

IHaveBrilloHair · 24/09/2018 15:41

Coat has arrived and it's perfect, fits and is so snuggly, I'm v pleased with my purchase.
