Highlighter ( I think!)

Have never been a great one for make up, just a case of slap on a bit of foundation and mascara and then go! Even on a night out as I am always seeing to the dc until the last minute I am never able to take my time and I end up putting on just the same stuff as I would through the day.

Anyway after seeing some holiday photos ( dreadful) I am trying to invent a new me. I am now down to what highlighter to use. Friend has shown me her Benefit " Girl meets Pearl" which is just the sort of effect I want but it's double the price of what I really want to pay.

Any suggestions please in the £10 price range?

Oh there are tons of much more reasonable highlighters (though highlighters are bit addictive so be prepared).

I like these ones at the moment:

www.superdrug.com/Make-Up/Face/Contour-Palettes-and-Kits/Gosh-Contour'n-Strobe-Kit-Light-001/p/707709

www.superdrug.com/GOSH/Gosh-Strobe'N-Glow-Kit-Blush-002/p/739095

There are other colour combos but I use those most. GOSH is always on offer in Superdrug and you can order online with free delivery.

Or if you have a big Boots near you, go and look at NYX highlighters as they have some nice ones in that sort of price range.

I am always in favour of a make up splurge, but I don’t believe for a second that you look dreadful!

i’d definitely recommend the make up revolution highlighters from superdrug. you can get powder or liquid in a variety of colours for about £3 each. the barry m liquid chrome highlighter drops are also good - they’re about £7.

Thank you all.. I really didn't know where to start. Off to town tomorrow!

Sleek Soltstice palette. Adored by the yoof. I love it. Better than my Dior, MAC etc.

BigRedBoat · 21/09/2018 11:46

Make up revolution have some really good highlighters. I also have a couple of nice ones from primark.

Another vote for sleek solstice, which is verrrry metallic, or the revolution highlight in golden lights for something a bit softer.

Primarks glow palette is amazing! Less than a tenner I think

can anyone recomend a highlighter for mature skin late 50s, the ones i have tried seem to highlight my winkles.
