Air cushioned footwear

Please can you recommend your air cushioned yet stylish shoes or trainers to me??

I walk to work and back so really like to keep my feet happy. I don't have a dress code - jeans and trainers fine but I also wear leggings with tunic etc. Absolutely love my polka dot Nike Air Max but they are falling to bits and I can't afford £90+ for a new pair. I've looked for sales bargains but don't like the style or colourway of any of them once you get near the £50-£60 mark.

The only other air cushioned soles I've worn are Dr Martens boots and I have a lovely pair but find them too heavy apart from in winter.

Are there any trainers as comfy as Nike Air Max out there? And any air cushion soled shoes that aren't too clumpy like DMs? Any suggestions appreciated!

Bumping for the OP as want answers too. Would love DMs but they’re sooo expensive.... Blush

Skechers are soooo comfy and you can often find them very cheap: www.mandmdirect.com/01/details/XS246?ds_rl=1260413&ds_rl=1260413&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhbaJ5ZyT3gIVBZztCh0-UA1hEAQYASABEgLFVfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Also, not sure about air cushioning but they're certainly made for walking: www.mandmdirect.com/01/details/SK804?ds_rl=1260413&ds_rl=1260413&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2tCelp2T3gIV65PtCh2QXQxEEAQYAiABEgLyj_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Not the pinnacle of fashion but you'll be comfy!

Clarks Active Air are lovely & comfy

Have you looked in TK Max? I have a pair of new balance aerobics trainers I walk in that are just as good as my expensive nike air trainers and they were about £35.

Thanks for reviving this @AngryCrispLady

Unfortunately I've just bitten the billet and shelled out £75 on some new Nike Air Force because they were too beautiful not to and had glittery bits. But I might investigate some Skechers and keep those for best

I have to stand a lot in my job and I always buy Clarke's with cushioning in the sole. They do look very like "work shoes" and I would never wear them in my free time, but they are super comfy. Like being in slippers or bare feet.

Oldraver · 23/10/2018 21:06

I bought a pair of cushioned trainers from Sainsburys and put a pair of memory foam liners in. I do 20,000 steps a day at least and they are really comfy

MaggieMuggins · 24/10/2018 13:06

@Oldraver Yes but would you go dancing in them?
