Acrylic nails & nail polish

For the past couple of months, I’ve been getting acrylic nails and I love them.
I would love to keep getting them done, but, I have loads of nail polish and I would hate to throw them away or even give them away as I would like to use them. I can grow my own nails, however, my own nails curl and the ends, and I feel my hands look better with longer nails.

My Question is, can I ask the girl who does my nails to put basic nail polish on them or does it have to be nail polish specifically for acrylics.

im pretty sure regular nail polish would be fine on acrylics.

I had acrylics for years at Nails Inc and they just used the same everyday polish that everyone used and bought in the salon

I wasn't aware there was special polish - are you sure there is?

Normal polish is fine. You should be able to remove it with an acetone-free remover as well if you want to repaint them.

itsjusttheoneswanactually. I thought it was a special polish, maybe it wasn’t. When I go again I think I will take a bottle of my polish and ask her to use that.
