Cocktail dress that won't crease...

... well, not too much at least. I have to go to a very fancy ball but will be landing an hour before it starts so will need to zoom from the airport to the (black tie) table and quickly get changed in the loos! I'm really hoping that someone has a smart idea for a very smart frock which will survive my (hand luggage sized) small case. All suggestions gratefully received (I am 5'8 and a size 10/12 pear with chubby knees I like to hide as well - guess that's important!)

Something with pleats would be perfect as they don't crease easily. This one for example

in the sale too!

I have this and I don't think it would crease it's surprisingly good quality for the money and material. I'm not a massive Lindybop fan but have worn this to a few black tie type dos.

Thanks both - I worry about my flabby arms (although should probably get over it) what do you think about this? Reckon it's a creaser? www.sosandar.com/sapphire-blue-velvet-wrap-dress

I have this from Debenhams. Looks and feels great on and is impossible to crease!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 19/09/2018 09:49

I always find Joseph Ribkoff are good for not creasing.

MoltonSilver · 19/09/2018 11:32

Are you sure the Sosander dress is dressy enough considering its black tie?

I'd be thinking more along these lines
