Jumpsuit help needed!

Obviously not literally- though after a few drinks....
I would like a jumpsuit. Black. Heavyish material. V neck- ish. For going out in for meals, etc. I am 49and 3/4. Size 14 and an apple.
My 5'8" daughter thinks I should wear a culottes one as a normal length as I am 5'2". Is she right? Or heightism?😬

I think the cropped wide leg look will look very dated very quickly.

I’m looking for a full leg tall one - I have the opposite height problem to you OP!

I love it - the material is a bit weird though, sort of a heavy, stiff, linen, but it's really comfortable and you can dress it up or down - I've worn it to work and for going out. The only thing that I don't like is that it's a bit baggy round the hips, but I had to buy a 14 for the boobs, and I'm a 10/12 everywhere else, but I can always get it taken in.

It's in the sale, although still a bit pricey.

@Moonflower12 it comes up as a culotte leg. I find it more flattering than any longer length jumpsuits that I've tried on, those just make me look like a Tellytubby

Warehouse have a couple of gorgeous jumpsuits in at the moment. I have a black cropped leg one with sleeves, and D-ring belt. It's absolutely lovely, heavy fabric and looks great with heels or flats. I'm 5ft 11 and it's a perfect cropped length on me.

I get all mine from ASOS - good quality jersey material (I'm tall though- I assume they do a petite range if needed)

I found Warehouse and MissSelfridge too short in the body for me so you need to try on a few to find the right one for you.

I got a fabulous one in ASOS petite. No link as it was last year but they have lots. At 5 ft 1 I had to have it taken up still but you'd be fine.
