Time for some autumn/winter clothing for DD. Any suggestions of where to look for some dresses/tights or leggings/jeans/sweatshirts. Mothercare is too young, next clothing seems to be covererd in sequins, Disney characters or animals and river island has a few nice items but lots of cropped tops and sports wear at the moment. DD is only 6. Am I missing any good places?

Frugi stuff is nice but pricey

I do like the boden patterns.

My daughter is 4 so a bit younger - we do a lot of shopping at Next online which is better than the shop itself, Vertbaudet, H&M is great and a few staples (jeggings and cardigans) from Boden. Frugi is great but avoid their tights (they don't wash well), I like Slugs and Snails for tights personally.

Owletterocks · 18/09/2018 21:49

Boden and joules when they have 20% off. Otherwise we use h&m and supermarkets, occasionally John Lewis and Debenhams

I like the tops and leggings from Sainsbury's, a set of 3 or 4 for £12 ish

HeyMicky · 18/09/2018 21:52

Another vote for Vertbaudet. Age appropriate, sturdy and interesting

Supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury) were my go to when my daughter was that age

Notveryadventurousname · 18/09/2018 22:09

John Lewis - not cheap but used to do lovely soft cord or jersey dresses in rich colours and simple shapes with stripey tights. Great in the sales too.

Tkmum23 · 18/09/2018 22:22

H&M and Zara are favorites here with mum and daughter

I noticed today that Mint Velvet have launched a new kids range. It's lovely!

Obviously not for her whole wardrobe but maybe for a treat item.

littlebillie · 18/09/2018 22:26

Sainsbury's and John Lewis for beautiful coats at a reasonable price

Rebecca899 · 18/09/2018 22:49
