Best long sleeved T Shirts!

Spacecadet43 · 17/09/2018 21:25

As cooler weather approaches I’ve been looking through my selection of long sleeved tees, which nearly all appear to be stripey and from H&M Grin I’m looking for suggestions for best buys? For background I’m a busty size 14, fairly short bodied, mid 40s. Will shop anywhere, not snobby, have stuff from Primark and George but usually shop online in Hush, Oliver Bonas, John Lewis or Urban Outfitters. In need of fairly inexpensive good quality long sleeved t shirts that aren’t just from H&M!! Any ideas?

Uniqlo do good ones. Their heat tech ones are great for cold weather.

I've bought M&S ones for years. Last for ages and keep their shape and colour well.

Thanks for the responses!! Appreciated. Smile

I saw some nice plain coloured 100% cotton ones in Peacocks for £6 - not short bodied though if that is essential.

Gap do lovely cotton long sleeved tops. The long/tall length are great for big busts. 40% off today as well!

I love the Primark ones. £3.50 I think. The sizing is really good too so the neck of a size 8 doesn’t come down to your waist!

Fat Face have the best cotton Bretons and long sleeve Ts in my opinion. I hate their patterns but their plain stuff is great quality

Uniqlo. Always Uniqlo. I'm size 12, large bust and I get a medium. Also got some from Mountain Warehouse which have lasted surprisingly well!

I got some lovely ones from Next after seeing them recommended on here. And their sale starts soon too.

I've just bought several of these from Tu. They're really soft.

I like J Crew scoop necked cotton t shirts. They’re very fine cotton and need to be washed carefully. I really dislike M&S ones. Matalan do good basic t shirts but I have to say I love H&M linen ones. I actually think you can’t beat H&M for natural basics on the high street.

I really like COS. I used to love J Crew T-shirts but the quality has declined over the last couple of years.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 21/09/2018 11:21

Which Uniqlo ones do you recommend if I want skimming, not clingy or baggy?

Teaplease18 · 21/09/2018 11:27

Another vote for Uniqlo heat tech long sleeve tshirts. They are so light and thin but very cosy and you never overheat. Also wash very well. Reminds me to buy a few more!Smile

I've stuck with M&S and H&M for years short and long sleeved.
100% cotton, perfect fit for me, last ages without twisting or looking tatty.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 21/09/2018 11:38

Uniqlo Airism tops are quite fitted. The Heat Tech ones are also close fitting so that you stay warm.

GraceMarks · 21/09/2018 11:52

Zara have some good ones in at the moment for about a tenner. Gap are always reliable too, and their stuff tends to hold its shape through lots of washes, unlike things i have had from the likes of Asda and Tesco.
