Smart blouse and trousers for a wedding?

I’m clueless and really struggling to find something to wear to an autumn wedding. I have a Hobbs blouse (malin - sorry can’t work out how to link a pic but it’s floral chiffon type fabric) and some smart navy wide ish leg trousers - can I get away with that for a wedding? I’m 50, size 12, 5’8”” and hate clothes shopping! Thanks in advance x

it sounds fine to me! you could also try something like this if you like:
www.johnlewis.com/studio-8-harley-dress-navy/p3389334?sku=236995356&s_kwcid=2dx92700029686130478&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-67u--7C3QIV9TLTCh13-AsJEAkYJyABEgJi-_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

only reason i am linking it as it has had a fair chunk of money taken off (it is on sale)

all the best x

Totally! Perhaps a fancy necklace or sparkly bag to make it feel special, but you'll look lovely just as it is.

Absolutely

Have fun!

Thank you all! I have no sense of style (and not much confidence!) so I really appreciate your responding x
