For me it’s my Bare Minerals powder foundation.

I’ll happily try everything else but my foundation powder is here to stay.

What else will you not change?

Paul Kingsley elasticizer

I bought a Sephora eye pencil while on holiday in the US a couple of years ago. Nothing I've bought from a British brand touches it, so now every time I go to France I have to find a Sephora and replenish stocks!

LoveAGoodChat · 16/09/2018 23:36

Make up remover wipes (the ones that cleanse, tone, moisturise)...I am never without a pack,

MayFayner · 16/09/2018 23:38

Estée Lauder doublewear mascara.

I wish Bare minerals worked for me. It makes me look like a corpse with massive pores.

SpeckledyHen · 17/09/2018 07:14

Loveagoodchat Which ones do you recommend please ?

I repeat buy Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation as it’s light coverage doesn’t settle into wrinkles.

LoveAGoodChat · 17/09/2018 09:24

SpeckledyHen I really like the Tzone brand ones, the shine control (in the green packet) and the charcoal ones (in the black packet)...the green ones are great for a regular skin cleansing...but if you want a really deep cleanse then the black charcoal does that perfectly,...I have really sensitive skin and they don't cause any irritation, they don't cause the skin to dry, flake or to break out...I always have a pack handy (they are great if you spill food on your clothes when you are out too especially if you don't want it to stain, as the cleanser in the wipe lifts the stain right out almost instantly)

I definitely couldn't (and wouldn't want to) live without themGrin

SpeckledyHen · 17/09/2018 10:31

Thanks Loveaggodchat I’ll give them a go . I’m trying to find ways to travel light when I go away and these might help to dump the heavy bottles .

LoveAGoodChat · 17/09/2018 15:48

SpeckledyHen they are marketed as facial wipes to remove make up/cleanse tone and moisturise etc...but they do so much more...for example if your roots are feeling a bit greasy, wrap a wipe around your fingers and rub in the roots area, and when the dampness has dried your roots will feel great as the job of the wipes is to remove oils and it does that perfectly...

Also if you keep a pack in your pocket or handbag and you need to freshen up when you are out and have no wash facilities they really do make your skin feel squeaky clean..

They are so cheap to buy (the Tzone ones) I don't know how much supermarkets and places like semichem/super drug are charging, but I've found some chemists charge 2 for £1 for them so it's not too bad price wise..

lexi727 · 17/09/2018 16:06

Mac face and body foundation! I have about 10 different shades of it for different times in the year. Also nars creamy concealer. I'm a slave to the stuff

SuzeD29 · 17/09/2018 18:52

Banana finishing powder, function of beauty shampoo and conditioner and Superdrug naturally radiant foaming cleanser 😊

Mercurial123 · 17/09/2018 19:13

Pacifica coconut face wash. It smells amazing.

Didsomeonesaybunny · 17/09/2018 19:21

LuxuryWoman2018 · 17/09/2018 19:52

Sainsburys misceller water at £2, vaseline elderly hands handcream (not really, it's called mature skin) miss sporty mascara in the pink tube. My wonderful bargain products.

Oh superdrug vitamin E oil too. And asprin to make face masks. Rimmel 60 second nail varnish. Tesco hair serum. God, so many.

HundredMilesAnHour · 17/09/2018 19:52

Haeckels Exfoliating Vegan Seawood Block (soap). It's A-MAZ-ING! I won't use anything else now. I also love Haeckels Eco Marine Facial Cream which I use as my night cream.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer. The best concealer I've ever used.

MandalaYogaTapestry · 17/09/2018 23:59

Bobby Brown translucent compact powder

Iconic London face mist with highlighter - my recent discovery and an immediate favourite! It makes the skin look dewy and brightens up the face in a subtle way

Deathraystare · 19/09/2018 11:23

Well, at the moment the only mascara that does make my eyes sore/sting and does not smell highly chemical is Maybelline total temptation -the waterproof one in the pale blue tube. It doesn't give mad lashes but sufficiently colours and covers. I wear glasses so no poiint going for illegal lengths!

I am also going to have to make that Argan hair mask a habit. Hask? Something like that.

BrisaOtonal · 19/09/2018 11:27

M Moroccan/ Argan oil
