Hoop earrings?

Just bought these gold and diamond hoop earrings and can’t decide whether to keep or not
I normally wear either diamond studs or have some trilogy earrings but have shoulder length curly hair and you can’t really see them
So fancied something different for evening wear

How big are they (diameter)
How much did you pay (if you don't mind me asking)

Can you actually return them- earrings are usually non-returnable.

TBH, they don't sell themselves to me .

They are about an inch by 3/4 inch as oval hoops
18ct gold with 2 diamonds about 0.175 carat each so 0.75 total
Paid £140 second hand with a 14 day return policy
It’s a jeweller I use often so won’t be a problem they will just stick in the autoclave and resell

They look very pretty.

I think with hoops (on me at any rate) the larger ones work better.

Also, I think they would be better as day earrings not evening (sorry don't mean to be rude, but I always think more dangly styles look better for evening wear).

If you're unsure and can return them, that might be best thing to do?

Hmm. Not very keen. Probably not an unbiased opinion, as I've never been a fan of hoops. I get what you mean about the hair, as I have the same issue, but I prefer a 'dangly' earring for evening.

I like hoops myself , I have some tiny ones , less than 1cm diameter and maybe 3mm wide. With a straight post and they 'click' nicely.

Also some silver Diamonique huggies , size of a new 5p which were last seen in the ears of my DD (must get them back)

If you don't love them then return them .
