What's the best way to get the bobbles off of jumpers etc tia

A cashmere comb. The little debobbling machines are meant to be too harsh for cashmere but may be ok for other materials.

depends on jumper/thread type - I use a cashmere comb on delicate wools that easily break. But even if its delicate but doesn't break easily then like some of my thicker cardis with distinct bobbles I will just deal with a sharp pair of nail scissors every so often.
