Makeup palettes in grey and cold shades

Having recently had my hair dyed ash grey and silver I need to update my eye makeup as all the palettes I have are too warm for my hair. I also have light blue/ grey eyes.

Does anyone have any recommendations for grey palettes or those that are colder than my current neutrals/ warm ones?

Watching with interest as I am looking too; cool shades are currently impossible to find!

I bought a MAC palette which was good as a starter. I don't recommend Urban Decay's which unfortunately I also have.

House of Colour sell cosmetics too but the quality is poor for the price IMO.

Yes!! I have been searching for years for cool palettes and I stumbled on this. www.superdrug.com/GOSH/Gosh-9-Shades-004-To-Be-Cool-In-Copenhagen/p/631600

I love it!

Between that and my urban decay naked 3 palette (which is blushed nudes) I don't need to bother with any others.

Looks like this and only £11.99. Decent enough pigment and no fallout. I'm going to have to get another as I've used so much of the grey/taupe shade middle left - it's a great transition shade.

Urban decay naked 2 or smoky

YukonGold · 15/09/2018 20:51

Ooh that Too Cool for Copenhagen looks good, thanks! I’ll be investing in that.

I’ve got Urban Decay Naked 2 and to be honest haven’t tried it but it looked a little warm to me, maybe it will look cooler on so I’ll have an experiment.

Im a sucker for a makeup palette so have quite a few that I haven’t even tried on Blush

Primark have some - cheap shit but you can see if the colours work before paying more?

YukonGold · 15/09/2018 20:55

Arghhh Dragon, I’ve just googled Urban Decay 3 and that’s now on my shopping list Grin

Try MUA cashmere collective mixed between warm and cool.

M&S do a cool greys eyeshadow set which always gets good results. I’m naturally grey with blue eyes and like it.

Elephantinacravat · 15/09/2018 22:09

You could also buy individual eyeshadows in the shades that you like (eg. Makeup Geek, Mac, ABH, Freedom in Superdrug I think) and a Z palette or similar magnetic palette and create your own palette. I am obsessed with my custom made Makeup Geek palette!

Bluelady · 15/09/2018 22:16

Kiku do some great individual greys, 78 is my go to. Silver hair, blue eyes.

Zoeva En Taupe palette
