Help please! Have a bottomless brunch in London later- not sure on what to wear?

What’s the thing to do? Casual jeans etc or a bit more fancy?

Depends where it is? The Ritz, greasy spoon, hipster pub?

Hotel, in the city

You’re probVly there by now, smart casual. Jeans fine with non scruffy shoes and top.

Nope, got a couple of hours yet! Still pondering the wardrobe!

Elasticated waist, baggy top?

Namethecat · 15/09/2018 10:44

If it's hottomless - then no tight jeans. Elasticated waist ?😉😉😂😂

Namethecat · 15/09/2018 10:45

Oops bottomless !

Xiaoxiong · 15/09/2018 10:53

Jeans, nice top, flats. Heels would be too dressed up IMO.

Boredofthecommute · 15/09/2018 10:55

Thanks for the input so far! Shouldn’t really be called a brunch as it’s not until 1.30 but it’s bottomless bubbles and anything earlier than that means bedtime at 6pm for me!

I agree with jeans, nice top and flats. Something you feel nice in, a bit more than you would normally wear. Or depending on the type of things you usually wear, a day dress with tights (depending on the dress obviously) and flats?

Boredofthecommute · 15/09/2018 11:35

What’s a nice top these days? I mostly live in tshirts and skinny’s!

Do you have a top you would never wear to Sainsbury's as you feel you would look over the top buying broccoli in it? Or do you have a top you never wear because you're saving it for 'a special occasion'?
