Broken leg fed up need style inspiration

I’ve broken my ankle and foot and I’m sofa bound. And bored. So I’m trying to spend the time taking time to look around and revamp my style.

I’m skint - my income is 15k a year. I’m 50, with bra strap (just) length mousy hair with a bit of grey (not much) I’m 5ft1 and a size 14/16. Size 4 feet but they’re very wide.

I have nice teeth and eyes. I’m a curvy Apple, fat sits around my middle.

Obviously I can’t do exercise at the minute, and there’s no point in linking me £100 tops because I can’t afford them. I was wondering about ebay?

My natural style tends to hippy rock chic and I like a shorter skirt because I’ve got good calves.

First thing was a hair cut and colour I think? Going to go to DD hairdresser and get her to do me a nice ice clean blonde highlights. Foils?

All ideas welcome.

Also need a backpack. Was thinking about the karrimor one from sports direct for laptop and maybe a mia tui Sydney for day to day?

Shamelessly bumping this.

Imagine you are talking to an alien. With no idea about style or fashion or anything. Please tell that alien what she needs to get to have a capsule wardrobe. In a list - so one white top, one pair of jeans for eg.

I’ve been on Pinterest all day and I have lost the will to live.

I’m a house of colour cotton wool ball summer. If that is of any relevance.

By the way. I don’t suit skinny jeans. My arse is too big and they go all weird around my tummy and dig in.

Is this for when things are back to normal or do we need to take into account a pot?

Oh :) back to normal

Are you in an air cast/boot or plaster? When I was in plaster I found it easier wearing wide legged trousers as they could be pulled over the plaster. Skirts are a bit awkward when you go to the clinic and they are pulling your leg around. Once in air cast I just wore whatever. It got a bit hot in skinny jeans.

Bag wise I used a cross body. Ruck sack for wandering around the house. Just bring anything you need down in one trip.

I just used loads of face masks to make myself feel better.
