OK, so I have a significant birthday coming up, i would like forever loafers - gucci jordaan look like my style. Where should I buy, online, from - and they always say they come up big....so, should i order half size smaller than I usually buy or half size smaller than my actual measurement?

I have the Jordaan’s in red, they are amazing!

I’m a pretty standard UK size 5 / 38 with a slightly wide foot. I ordered a 38 and a 37.5 directly from Gucci, but they were huge! I ended up buying the 37 from Harrods as they were the only place that had that size at the time. They are ridiculously comfortable Grin

Another jordaan fan here, bought them from Selfridges.i Sized down for the leather ones, but not the velvet ones.

Thanks Ticky, the red are my no.2 choice

Was it a whole size down for the leather ones queen?

half a size but I have freakishly long toes Grin

I recommend trying in store.

Anyone been to the Gucci store in Glasgow?

I have them. The sizing runs long, but narrow. They do stretch wider as you wear them.

The advice from the sales rep was to buy them for the length you need, because the width will sort itself out as they’re worn.

I have found this to be true. I wouldn’t want to buy them without trying in store, however. It’s just too risky with a loafer as you don’t want the heel to slip as you walk.

Get rubber soles put on the bottom too

Right, Glasgow is a no go ATM so I have ordered from Matches with #100 off - returned a size 37, my usual size, but much too big. I now have, in my possession a red pair in size 36.5 which I think are still a bit big, comfy but FART when I walk Sad. I now need to send for a size 36 to see if they are the ones don't I?

Know these aren’t Gucci but figure loafer lovers will be drawn to this thread - what do you guys think of these? Sorry cardoon, not trying to derail 😬 I think they have a look of YSL about them 🤔
