What colour nails?

Ball on Saturday, getting nails done this afternoon.

Floor length very sparkly navy dress.

What colour nails should I go for?

Would navy sparkly be too much?
Just plain silver sparkles?
Or stick with a more traditional red or pink?

What say Mumsnet?

Very dark Rouge-noir-y red...but then I'm not the best person to ask because that's all I wear in Winter and then either coral or tomato red in summer

I'd go with navy nails but no sparkle. Dress sounds fab but I think sparkly nails could be overkill

Really dark navy would look lovely, but so would red, nude or silver! What colour jewellery are you wearing? What colour shoes/handbag? Maybe match them to that?

I'd go with a grey-blue, non-sparkly nail colour if I were you. Dress sounds gorgeous by the way!

Navy. No sparkles.

You can get away with most colours with navy. As the dress is sparkly, I’d go with non-sparkly nails though. A deep red, rich dark pink or navy would look good I think.

Like a PP, I'd go rouge noir, deep deep red, or navy no sparkles. That or French tips.
