Clothes similar to Kin at John Lewis

I love the style of Kin clothes, the way they fall and how loose they are without looking like a shapeless tent. I bought a Kin dress for a wedding last year and have worn it multiple times since.

I'm going to another wedding end of October and looking for a new dress. I've had a look at the new Kin collection and will order a couple to try, but can anyone recommend any similar brands and styles? I don't want to pay more than £100 (ideally £75 max). I'm 5'7", size 14 with D cup so no super high neck lines and would rather be in something comfortable but stylish. Help please! I am awful at choosing clothes and rarely go shopping, I buy most my clothes in Sainos or the charity shops.

Cos

Yep, COS

I think JL were 'inspired' by COS when creating the Kin range 😁

Thanks I check them out. I've avoided Cos before because of the shapeless tent fear, but actually thinking about it, they do seem to be very similar!

Cos, Arket, some of the & Other Stories range, Modern Rarity at John Lewis (maybe) and Finery
Some of the range at Zara.

I thought they were channeling toast. Japanese workwear.

You can try Asos white as well.
Their clothes are very similar to COS.
I'm a big fan of cos/kin style too and Asos white is just as good :)

Yes, that is gorgeous. As soon as I saw the link I knew which dress it would be. Sadly for me yellow and brown do nothing for me so feel free to buy it while I weep in my corner.

Following. 😊

Cos is brilliant, but you have to shop in store - and I say that as someone who buys everything online. They have some amazing clothes, but also some total eyesores, and it's impossible to tell one from the other on their website.

wineymummy · 19/09/2018 10:35

countfosco unfortunately it appears that yellow and brown do nothing for me either - that dress also gaped hugely over my boobs so it's going back.
XX I have heard the same about Cos so will try to get into town later this week to have a look.

Thanks again everyone.

Wow! A non viscose dress! Actual Cotton. Actual organic cotton! (Faints away).

It does feel really nice to touch, it has a good weight to it without being heavy.
