Has anyone packed away their summer gear and started to take out jumper and boots yet?

I feel a definite nip in the air but always hesitate putting my summer clothes at this time of year.

Being a nosy sheep I'd like to know where you're at. Is anyone cold enough to wrap up yet or are you hanging on to those pedicures and bare legs for dear life?

I have to say its so nice to be able to dress normally again and not worry about being sticky and sweaty. Just looked at our forecast for next week and its low 20s all week so the sandals are definitely staying out. Apart from the very hottest weather (usually odd days in June/July, this year a lot longer) I wear the same all year round, jeans and short sleeved tops, I just add vests, cardis and coats in winter and switch from sandals to boots. I don't really have jumpers, I get too hot in them.

I wore shorts yesterday I am wearing black tights to work today..

Wierd.

I came back from my summer hols last week and after washing and ironing them all stashed them all away. It's definitely too cold for summer clothes.

There's a definite gap in my wardrobe now and I'm planning on a few warm items. It hasn't helped the rugby season has started, bringing back memories of last season's horrendous weather.

My shorts and sleeveless tops are now under the bed and the jumpers are in the wardrobe but I've yet to wear them. Been in my jeans a lot though.

I do however purposely buy dresses that can be layered easily so they last multiple seasons so I will be spending a lot of time in them.

Some of the winter things have been brought out but I haven't packed the summer things away just yet. Next week is looking to be a bit warmer thankfully as its our last summer camping trip. It'll be chilly in the mornings but afternoons are glorious.

I've worn tights a couple of times this month already but its not quite big boots time yet. I'll dig out the big winter coats this week and give them a bit of a spruce up and a clean before the real weather starts.

Yep did my summer/autumn swap over in my wardrobe today

I'm in my jeans with trainers/ ballet pumps instead of sandals; wearing tees & vests still but with cardigans/ hoodies.

Have been sorting out my actual winter wardrobe.
Sad to say see ya later to my summer stuff.
