Woolovers

I have bought a few things from Woolovers in the past, but not for a couple of years because the quality wasn’t very good. They were cheap and basic though, and great if you just wanted a plain simple cardt or something.

I got a catalogue in the post today. They have upped their style and upped their prices a lot. Does anyone know if this is reflected in the quality now too?

I also gave up, the stuff always bobbled badly, I'm sure it still does.

I have a fair few jumpers from them- bought on the back of last year's Christmas bargain thread. Great quality, no bobbling. (unlike Gap which I will never buy again, no matter how many farking 40% codes a week they send me. Foul quality)

Ooh, conflicting experiences.

I've given up buying from them, they scimp on the material in a seam and they always come apart there. Fed up with repairing Woolover seams.

I think you’re right CanYouHearThat. Last year I bought 1, then 2, then 3 jumpers from Celtic and Co and the quality is excellent.

No doubt I am due a catalogue. Disappointed to hear that it up their prices. One of the reasons I buy from there is that they are cheaper than other places. That said starting is fairly frumpy ( regardless of how they show this in the catalogue I can't expect that they improved style and fit all that well in a matter of weeks since I last bought something from them) the quality is not always great and I agree about the bobbling.

Reading this thread is giving me a reminder not buy from them again I think I'd rather just pay more via another company such as pure Collection.
