The best tinted moisturiser/bb (cc?) creams

I’d like something to add just colour to my face, without adding any layers or coverage on top or changing the texture/finish etc of my skin. My face is always naturally lighter than the rest of my body, so want to match it up better.

I’ve tried a couple of cheap tinted moisturisers/bb creams - Garnier, but this broke me out in painful lumps, and currently using a Nivea one but I have to mix this with a regular moisturiser otherwise as it looks so dry and flat on my face.

I do like the Nivea when mixed though, but not convinced on the staying power of it.

Any recommendations?

I bought an avene one purely by chance as it was in the reduced pile at my local boots. I love it! It gives me a peachy glow and blurs things a bit. Its called hydrance optimale legere. 30spf. Colour is bonne mine.

Rimmel BB cream is fabulous. The new No7 Custom Drops are great too, you can mix one or two drops with your day cream

I use Superdrug’s own DD cream, budget price but great finish, gives skin a nice dewy glow and even tone but so light.

Liz Earle is the best one I have used and I keep repeat buying it. Ive tried Urban decay, Laura mercer, Clarins, Clinique.
LE is by far the best one plus it has factor 15 in it.

Best one I've tried is No 7 city light tinted moisturiser. I've recently been trying a few and I like it by far the best.

Hi OP

Just wanted to say if you are breaking out with bb creams it might be bb creams in general. After years of wearing smashbox bb which I absolutely loved, i realised I can't wear it because it was the cause of my painful spots. It is the spf in it that breaks me out.

It might be better to wear a tinted moisturiser or a light foundation. At the moment I'm liking ysl all in one glow

Not quite what you asked for but Avène tinted sunscreen is really good. Looks dark in the tube but it isn't on your face. Good spf and blurs/evens out everything just a bit.

I've tried several CC creams and nothing beats the Aldi Lacura CC cream. It's also an incredible price.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel is fabulous. it comes in different shades. I have sensitive skin, but this one always looks good.
