Which way up do my bra inserts go?

Just bought a soft unstructured bra (like Genie bra, but from Asda!)
Surprisingly comfy and supportive.
It has very thin removable shaped inserts, don't add too much padding but keep the nipples under control. (useful as mine are very perky)
When bra is being put on or off or unworn, they can move but they seem OK when it's on.
But which way up?

In the shop, several had the straighter edge at top of cup, but I feel it should be at base of cup.
I'm a 34 D, but look smaller as I need D as my breast tissue is wide rather than full

Flat at the bottom. 😊
