Smart casual wear- evening

So, going away to a nice hotel with husband for a long weekend in a few weeks.

It's a very nice hotel which has a lovely lounge where people (ladies) mostly dress up in the evenings. I normally tend to hide behind being a mummy and just wear smart jeans and a niceish top with smart heeled boots. But I want to make an effort this time.

We normally visit when its cooler but its still going to be quite warm when we go. Therefore, the boots might not be an option but I don't want to do sandals either.

I'm quite short, size 12 but big busted, which I am conscious of, and I don't do dresses/skirts. A wide section to address but any ideas for tops/bottoms/shoes combination would be most welcome. Thank you.

I have bought a couple of jumpsuits- but not been brave enough to wear them yet, plus shave been unsure about shoes. What kind of footwear would work best (other than the trainer type which are normally recommended)?
