Considering the above.
I do like to try things on though
is this to be recommended?

I've bought from eBay. I tend to search for brands I already wear regularly though, so the sizing tends to be less of an issue.

I have a dress from everything £5. It's not my job interview dress! Weird material but looks quite flattering on me.

My friend does. She has the right shape - triangle. I can’t buy a single thing from those places though, I’m a pear and it’s all cut wrong for me.

I am a size 20 if that makes any difference
thanks for input so far

Never bought from everything £5 but loads of items from my wardrobe is second hand from eBay

I’m a size 20 and just bought a top, chinos and a couple of other things but the dress I ordered was missing from the package. The quality seems fine. I also buy lots from eBay, usually for one season wonder pieces that are cheap or 2nd hand unworn new with tags stuff for more expensive stuff. It can be a bit hit and miss but you can always sell things on. I sell all my new with tags stuff that I don’t get round to sending back or don’t lose enough weight for it to fit properly clothes on eBay.

Everything £5 is brilliant, the clothes are surprisingly good quality and fit. Pretty much my whole work wardrobe is from there. They are great about returns too, and will refund the P&P as well as the item even if it's just not to your taste.

thats good yips

my dd bought some shoes from asos, after wearing them and finding them uncomfortable they still refunded us!
