Thinking with leggings/jeans and oversize knits?

I like both styles but they look cheap

Everything 5 pounds is normally flogging off low end High Street oversupply. So not a five pound pair of boots but a thirty (?) pound pair that people didn’t want to buy.

I think the phrase is "you only get what you pay for" - my dsd has had stuff from that site that looks ok but that's lasted about 2-3 months if that then gone in the bin - I'd be more likely to spend money on a good leather pair of boots that'll last and not fall to pieces or leave me with wet feet!!! They are a statement piece for autumn/winter and like a coat - I'd spend a bit more on them.
I just think buying loads of cheap stuff is false economy and clutters up my wardrobe but it depends on your budget and whether you're happy with a throw-away item or whether you want a good pair of boots to last all season!

To be fair they both look like cheap boots- and that’s fine, I mean what can you get for £5? If you’re after a total bargain they’re not awful. Black pair is better.

For something nicer - and slightly more expensive (£20ish) look on ASOS, they have a 60% off sale on winter stuff and lots of boots included.

If your budget is £5 for boots then I think they're good.

I think asda george is selling leather ankles boots for 25..

Having looked at them I think the black classics look fine: I don’t like the style of the cut outs so wouldn’t go for them - and they’d get complicated with socks. I think they look like exactly what they are - basic New Look/H&M/Zara/George/Next boots. It’s annoying that they don’t always specify material so whilst the cut outs are definitely plastic the black ones might or might not be leather.
