How does landsend kids compare to boden

Got a landsend kids catalogue through the post today, how do their clothes compare to boden? I’ve got a £10 off if I spend £40 code and individual items are cheaper than boden. Should I give it a shot, anything particularly good for a tall skinny 3 yr old boy ( currently wearing age 5) and a normal height build 2 yr girl. Thanks

I buy their snow boots every winter and they’re great boots. I used to buy the same from jojo when DS was younger. Have also bought boys pyjamas and they’ve worn and washed very well. I think they we’re very 25 full price. IVe never bought Boden pyjamas but they compare well to little white company.

It's really good quality. Proper sturdy cotton that rarely twists or pills. My two have had loads of it and most of it has actually survived DS1.

The sizing is quite generous, but my youngest is in teen sizes, now, so I can't comment precisely on the younger sizes.

I can strongly recommend the tie dye tops, BTW.

Just beware of the returns because they're a bit crap. If in doubt, size up so you can put it away for the future.

I buy loads of their clothes for my DS and DD. Washes and tumble dries brilliantly, all clothes have stayed in great condition to pass on to friends. Never pay full price, there's always a code and cashback from quidco or topcashback.

Great thanks, anyone bought their Sherpa hoodies? Was going to buy a boden one for dd but the reviews suggest the quality not up to last years. So think i’ll give LE a bash

I'm a bit staggered to hear LandsEnd customer services described as a bit crap. Usually, you read plaudits about how good they are - it's certainly no-quibble returns, and you can get through to real people rapidly. I've only ever had good experiences.

I like the Kids stuff - have had loads of it over the years, after I visited the outlet shop. It'll all been good quality and I abandoned Boden. I'd say the sizing is on the generous side.

For adults, the coats and jackets are really good (and keep you warm/dry even in foul weather) and the swimwear is excellent (but the price has shot up recently)

Just looked at the page - we've has Sherpa hoodie. DC loved it (found the fleece really soft) and it stood up to constant wear for what seemed like forever. I think he's still miffed they don't do an adult-size one.

Great thanks. I’ll get on and buy some stuff and give it go.

I think the land's end kids stuff is great too. Their jackets are really good quality and have lasted well. Ive not paid full price for any of them so it's definitely worth looking round for a discount code.

I have some pj's i got in their sale they are lovely and generous fit. My dd has a fur lined hoodie i bought which will be on its third winter this year and still looking good.

NotAnotherJaffaCake · 07/09/2018 20:17

Excellent quality and original designs, however I find their sizing all to cock (also impossible to understand), so never have any idea what size fits. I think it comes up large, but I may have just ordered the wrong size...

PickAChew · 07/09/2018 20:20

The sherpa hoodies are great.

I had to return something last year because the quality really wasn't what I was expecting. I had to pay to wait in all day for a myhermes collection. There was supposed to be an option of using a drop off service but the location map simply was not working, on any device, whether using data or WiFi.

Cablestitch · 08/09/2018 18:50

Their sherpa hoodies are amazing. DS lives in his, takes it to Cubs camps etc and it looks like new. And so soft, he's quite fussy about how clothes feel but he'd sleep in the hoodie if I let him!
