Foundation for pale skin with pink undertones

Can anyone recommend a foundation for very pale skin that is pink based not yellow. I’m mid thirties so need something with a bit of coverage but not too heavy. (I feel I’ve outgrown my Benefit foundation) I have combination skin so nothing too shiny.

Thanks!

Possibly lily Lolo? It’s mineral make up and you can order samples. I’m very pale and most very pale foundations are too yellow for me. Porcelain lily lolo works well. Bobbi Brown is another option.

this has very good reviews and an article i read recommended it for people with a pink undertone x

Thanks teacup. Years ago I bought a Bobbi brown foundation that looked ok in the shop but I later realised was too yellow. They’ve probably changed the range since then - do you know the name of the shade that would work?

As PP mentioned Lily Lolo. Although coverage is not great. It kind of blurs iyswim. Although it is buildable (but it goes a bit chalky on my skin if I use too much). They are great for samples so you can try it out though.

Double wear

Maybelline 24hr superstar, one of the lightest shades is very pink based (too pink for me sadly)

Boots 7 radiance foundation in calico....it was a game changer for me as I got older

DaftSkunk · 07/09/2018 20:01

I'm the same colourings and I really love Rimmel wake me up foundation. The colour match is great - I use the shade light porcelain. It's not heavy I'd say medium coverage. I really rate it, it's the only foundation I have re-purchased, and prefer it over Estée Lauder DW.

Strumpetpumpet · 07/09/2018 20:04

Boots no 7 cool rose or soft rose suit me - pale readhead 😀

Theworldisfullofgs · 07/09/2018 20:10

I'd second lili lolo. They do both pink and yellow foundation for each shade I think.
You can order samples v inexpensively
Best foundation I've used. Keep going back to it.

I have roseaca which means I find my skin really pink when having a flare up. Bare Mineral has been a lifesaver for me. Doesn't irritate my skin and can build up the level of coverage needed depending on how my skin is. They do their traditional powders, which are not as daunting to use as you might think, and also a good range of foundations.

WipsGlitter · 07/09/2018 20:34

I use Bobbi Brown in porcelain. I've very pale skin but like you it's pink. It's the best foundation I've ever used.

cloud1183 · 07/09/2018 20:48

No7 Calico is good

udnertheradar · 07/09/2018 21:06

Lily lolo China doll

suze28 · 07/09/2018 22:23

I'm pale with cool undertones but find that the warm ivory shade in Bobbi Brown foundation is more flattering for me. It isn't yellow but has a more neutral undertone on me.

teacuptale · 07/09/2018 23:22

Re Bobbi Brown, I used to use Skin foundation. I used the palest shade- I think it was Porcelain. If the formulations are the same as a few years back, the Porcelain in Skin was paler than the other Bobbi Brown foundations. Lily lolo also does a green corrector powder. I use it under my foundation to even out redness.

Darklane · 07/09/2018 23:26

Boots No7 Calico was too dark on me, I'm very pale with no yellow, but they've just brought out a Porcelain shade which is much better. Unfortunately as yet it only comes in one of the liquid variants but the assistant said she expected it to be introduced across the range.
I always use Bare Minerals original loose makeup in Fair & they've just brought out a liquid BarePro foundation, the Ivory, the palest shade, is very pale. Don't be fooled by the Porcelain, it's very yellow. They also do a BarePro powder foundation which I like in Fair.

MissMarplesKnitting · 07/09/2018 23:29

The ordinary do both coverage and serum formulation in 1.0 cool which is pink toned.

I find the boots No7 Calico way too dark and wear the 1.1C from the ordinary and it's perfect.

I love too faced peaches and cream in shade snow. Best foundation ive ever used

tiggykate · 08/09/2018 08:57

I now use the benefit happy foundation with a primer then lily lolo. Nice and pale 😉

Chathamhouserules · 08/09/2018 09:03

I'm the same tones and really struggled. I've found clarins everlasting foundation 102.5 porcelain to be good. Quite good coverage. I'm going to check out the other recommendations though.

Kleptronic · 08/09/2018 09:15

No. 7 Cool Vanilla.

GrimDamnFanjo · 08/09/2018 13:05

I wear Bobby Browns Porcelain. I also recommend Nars as they have a huge range of shades too.

BeyondAnOmnishambles · 08/09/2018 13:08

I use L’Oreal true match in rose ivory, powder and foundation.
Best colour I've found to match mine :)
