Hi everyone! As some of you may know, every week we trawl the boards to pick out the products MNers are 'swearing by'.

You may already receive our weekly Swears By newsletter, but you can also find a round-up of all of the products here on our Swears By page.

This week, there was a lot of love for the River Island Amelie Jeans (from £40) on this thread, with @Liefster exclaiming "I wouldn't buy anything else now!”

Click here to take a look at the "magical" jeggings Mumsnetters were loving on 9th September.

We're going to try something a little different this month: tell us if we've missed something you've been loving and recommending this week for the chance to win £100 of Amazon vouchers. We'll pick a winner at random and announce the lucky winner (and their must-have product) in October's first Swears By newsletter.

And, if you want to be first to know about the next cult product, you can sign up to the newsletter here.

Mumsnet Swears By is free and independent from advertising but if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale. You can find out more here.

Mumsnet just used the Plus sized version of the jeans to illustrate the thread. There is a regular version too with the usual model with impossibly long legs. Which version most accurately shows how these jeans would look on the average British woman?

Mumof3dragons · 09/09/2018 22:30

Worries me that the comments about the jeans come from mothers. Poor kids.

lexer · 09/09/2018 22:43

@Mumof3dragons...what do you mean?

GloGirl · 10/09/2018 00:50

Ooh I've just posted one on the Shellac thread! For Solar Oil for your nails Glitterball

Ineedabiscuit · 10/09/2018 04:49

Sorry but we normalise obesity and by most standards the person in these jeans does not have healthy body weight . Nobody is being unkind the ‘model’ is not identifiable , it is not fat shaming , we must not pretend obesity is acceptable. Evidence shows it can lead to huge health issues.

Why do we have to promote overweight as good. saying this
is ‘average ‘ we are accepting obesity and all its implications for future generations .

Hello again everyone!

We're back with the products you've been recommending to each other this week, and these flatteringly high-waisted and affordable M&S Jeggings were a firm favourite. @Lizzy1980 started a thread about them, saying: "they have done amazing and magical things for my body" - we're sold.

Remember to take a look at our Swears By page for the rest of MNers' September must-haves, and sign up to our newsletter here to always be the first to know.

I've just discovered Clinique Even Better Glow foundation and after wearing for a week it is my holy grail. I'm 36 and I was asked for ID to buy wine at the weekend! It's natural looking but gives that well rested glow that I've not had since the minute DD1 was born

buckeejit · 13/09/2018 22:58

Nesti Dante soaps on offer on amazon. They smell great!

Also just love love hearts handwash!

And kiko smart eyeliners. Fab.

@topsyanddim

So if this is affiliate advertising where you receive money by posting links does that mean you will ONLY post links where you have this arrangement rather than being impartial? What’s the benefit to users of the site?

Not at all @topsyanddim - we always start by picking out the products that we think will be most useful to or loved by MNers. As we say in the OP, we do make a small amount when a user buys through MN, but because most retail sites these days are part of an affiliate network, there's no incentive for us to be swayed either way. Occasionally we come across a highly-recommended product which isn't part of an affiliate network, but tbh that's very rare, and it definitely doesn't stop us including the product in Swears By. Trust is really important to us, and we'd never to anything to jeopardise it.

The RI jeans just don't look flattering though, do they? Regardless of size of legs.

Happy Monday everyone!

This week on the boards, @ChateauneufDuTwat recommended PraNaturals Revitalising Body Scrub, £16.99 (was £24.99), promising that "you're left with the most beautifully soft and smooth skin." The ideal body scrub for a little TLC this autumn.

Hello!

@HavingALittleBabyToolshed claimed to have found the "ultimate in weekend slouchyness" this week, with this Zara Flowing Dress, £39.99. Plus it's so simple it can be styled with just about anything - leopard print handbag, anyone?

Snorfig · 29/09/2018 14:20

Primark high waisted super skinny jeans, £10 and they’re still tight after several wears without the chance to wash them (yep I’m gross and busy). They’re the colour of jeans from my teenage years, proper blue, not indigo or bleached or distressed. They have decent sized pockets and a nice small waist with no gape. I look incredible in them and I have a wobbly bottom.

BWatchWatcher · 29/09/2018 15:40

Did anyone else find the M&S jeggings smelt really weird?

ElfrideSwancourt · 30/09/2018 08:52

BWatchWatcher yes! I thoughts was just mine- I've worn and washed them several times but they still smell odd. I actually thought my cat had wet them (she has form Blush)

purplepandas · 30/09/2018 14:35

Astral moisurising cream. Cheap and thick so good for dry skin. I use it all the time and have for years. Nothing else (even more expensive creams) are as good.

BWatchWatcher · 30/09/2018 21:54

Thank God it wasn’t only me. I bought the grey ones and denim blue ones. The grey ones ming still. The blue ones less so.

HannahGMumsnet · 02/10/2018 16:25

Happy Tuesday all.

This week @cheeseandcrackers told us how she thinks her Dyson V6 Cordless, £259.90 (was £349.99) is the best thing since sliced bread. She said "it has changed the way I vacuum completely" - what more could you want?

Asda Wonderfit jeans - super-stretchy, flattering and very comfortable. They keep their shape after being worn, available in lots of colours too. I love them!

Ellapaella · 03/10/2018 12:26

Pantene one minute wonder.. little conditioner that comes in a small gold tube. It's absolutely transformed my dry hair. I'm using one every time u wash and condition and my hair is amazingly soft and smooth.

Belina · 03/10/2018 13:15

Ricer island isnt good for me but a lot of women like their Jean's I think Topshop Jamie Jean's are good.

Also this cream is really good made my skin soft I'm not someone who has wrinkles but has improved the slight lines I had
