Capsule wardrobe?

What do you think are the essential ingredients of a smart casual 4 day a week in the office autumn collection? I tend to favour black ankle length trousers and jacket/scarf/chunky necklace to accessorise. What other options are there?

Pencil skirt

Pinafore dress

It’s boring, but this would be my starting point
