Cashmere wrap - which is best?

A very dear friend is coming towards the end of her life. I'd like to buy her a really soft fine cashmere wrap, knitted rather than fabric-like. I've looked at Brora, Pure, Catherine Robinson, Willow etc. Which is the nicest? It needs to feel lovely and soft and comforting and be big enough to wrap up in, but not look like a blanket (think that might emphasise being in bed and ill if that makes sense?). Thank you.

I think Johnston's of Elgin do the best cashmere by far - that's a lovely gesture x

Thank you, I've had a look and actually their ponchos look lovely and soft.

You can also have initials embroidered on them, they are super soft and absolutely beautiful.

Have you looked at turtle doves - recycled cashmere and one offs. All hand made. I have some of their items and so soft. Good to know it's recycled too.

No, I hadnt heard of them, thanks.

Aren’t you lovely. I have looked after people at the end of life and I think stole/blanket may be better than poncho - with frail people hard to get on and odd head.
💐 to you and your friend
