What to wear to my mother's wedding!

I could do with some help please! My 80yo mother is getting remarried and it will be a very smart ceremony and lunch for 150+ in November. I'm 54yo and have recently lost a lot of weight so I have absolutely nothing whatsoever to wear that now fits me! I have a love for jewel-like colours, embroidery, velvets, silks, etc. I'm happy to show off my new figure but not my upper arms and I'd rather something below the knee as they're not too pretty!

Can anyone suggest good places to look, or even outfits? I saw some wonderful embroidered coats from Beatrice von Treskow but the prices are quite steep and I'm just not sure I can justify them.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!!

I think John Lewis and Debenhams have personal shoppers that can give you a hand, it is always better to go and try things on in real life than internet shopping.

I love Coast outfits for wedding guest
