I'd hold on to

Flat brown Chelsea boots
Grey puma trainers
Leopard print mid heel court shoes
Black knee high boots
Red high heel courts (nicer than they sound)

What would you keep?

Just re-read OP, for winter: replace birdies with my black tall uggs. Need comfy and cosseting footwear

goose1964 · 05/09/2018 00:24

For winter I own
Mid calf taupe boots
Black ankle boots
Mint Timberland trainers
Dying walking shoes

So only have 4

Peoplemaynoticeus · 05/09/2018 05:56

Blue velvet brocade dms
Floral black velvet dms
Floral red velvet dms
Leopard print satin converse
Bottle green velvet converse

emwithme · 05/09/2018 06:24

Walking boots (Meindls not Lowas)
Doc Marten Chelsea boots
Black flat Mary Janes
Nude heels
Cherry 8 hole Doc Martens (may finally finish breaking them in properly)

90% of the time I'm wearing one of the first three anyway.

Roystonv · 05/09/2018 06:29

Trainers for sightseeing on holiday (China in November, India in January - excited). These also do occasional dog walking duty and then get shoved in the washer.
Smart black ballet flats with a bit of sparkle for evening
Flat black loafers for most days
Knee length boots for the rare times I wear a dress

Think that's it.

MeetOnTheLedge · 05/09/2018 07:02

Snow boots
Walking boots
Running shoes
Adidas Gazelles
Black leather ankle boots

We have a casual dress code at work and hopefully won't have any nights out where the ankle boots or Gazelles won't do, I hate wearing normal shoes.

EvilRingahBitch · 05/09/2018 07:13

This is my worst nightmare.
Black heels for work
Hiking shoes
Knee length black boots
Chelsea boots
Grey shoes for work to wear with navy outfits

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair · 05/09/2018 08:54

Gortex tan leather riding boots
Beige nubuck slouchy mid calf boots
Tan ankle boots
Pull on chocolate leather mid calf fleece lined boots
NAVy suede over the knee flat boots.

TheLastNigel · 05/09/2018 08:58

Battered old Brown Chelsea boots (ive put them on for the first time since about May this morning as it's a bit chilly-hellooo old friends, how I've missed you).
White supergas with a gold stripe.
Black low heeled boots
Leopard point toe courts
Dunlop wellies for dawg walking.

Babdoc · 05/09/2018 09:02

I only have one pair of feet, so I own one pair of winter shoes. Unless wellingtons, trainers and slippers count?

QuantumWeatherButterfly · 05/09/2018 09:15

Black court shoes
Black fringed loafers
Black heeled shoeboots (which are more on the boot side)
Black knee high biker(ish) boots
A funky coloured pair of Gazelles, which I have yet to acquireSmile

This is, or course, assuming that my wellies and running trainers don't countSmile. But if they do, I would reluctantly swap out the loafers and the gazelles.

BiddyPop · 05/09/2018 09:26

My flat black Ecco shoes (comfortable for walking, smart enough for office under trousers)
My Italian black heels (I have a few pairs, but if limited to 5 overall - these are comfy to wear all day, multiple days in a row, and yet very smart)
My brown short boots (for casual)
My navy dubarry admirals
My dubarry boat boots (necessity - wading in to grab trailers in the depths of winter is no place for bare feet!)

I am missing a pair of runners in there - but my Helly Hanson ones have died an ignominious death (and were left behind in China) and I haven't yet replaced them.

I am also missing my hiking boots off there - both for hiking and some more casual days.

I can manage in just black though for work (I'd like to have navy too, but need both flats and heels in black), and I can go barefoot/socks rather than my crocs flipflops at home.

hollieberrie · 05/09/2018 09:31

I think I only have about 5:

  • cosy slippers
  • Black ankle boots
  • Tan ankle boots
  • Nike trainers
  • Battered old Converse
Giggorata · 05/09/2018 09:44

Not including slippers:
Black Trippen Dragon boots
Doc Marten boots, probably the tartan ones
Black pull on Fly boots
Black ankle boots with small heel
dark green Mary Jane Docs

foxtiger · 09/09/2018 17:00

Black FitFlop ballet pumps

Long flat black boots with a neoprene stretchy bit at the back

Short honey-coloured suede boots

Tan/chestnut (somewhere in between) medium heeled shoes with two diagonal straps

Black "stability" trainers (although I would rather have the nude Nikes I've promised myself for Christmas)

OurMiracle1106 · 09/09/2018 17:02

My trainers
My Calvin Klein black patent heels
Over the knee boots
Uggy boots
And a pair of flats.

Needahairbrush · 09/09/2018 17:06

Silver hamble oak brogues
Tan brogue pattern ankle boots
Chunky black biker boots with big straps
Classic black Chelsea boots
Waterproof walking boots

Sturmundcalm · 09/09/2018 17:09

walking boots
suede, faux-fur lined boots (best traction on ice/snow)
stan smiths (cause they're like slippers)
black ankle boots

and then struggling - not sure whether to go with a pair of heels or my DM brogues or my trainers!! i have too many pairs of shoes/boots...

namastayinbed · 09/09/2018 22:20

Leather ankle boots, suede ankle boots, nikes, brogues, loafers - nude, berry, navy and black colours.
