Perms: still possible

So, is it possible to get a perm nowadays? Has anyone had one? (recently, I mean!)

I have the world's straightest hair, and it just sort of... hangs there. Tongs, curlers, sleeping in rags all make it look amazing... for about 15 minutes, and then it goes back to being straight. I'm so bored of it.

I think what I need is a perm, but... is it still a thing? Will it make my make all my hair fall out? Go green? Or something? Or will it be the answer to all my woes?

Any advice greatfully received!

I've always wanted a perm! I'm the same as you, my hair is very fine and very straight.

I'd ring a salon and enquire Smile

Yes! I had one a month ago. Love it and I've had loads of compliments!

I have poker straight hair and had a perm several years ago. It lasted about 6 weeks.

I'd like this too. I'm wrecking my hair with hot implements trying to get the wave to stay in.

Would a Brazilian blow dry do the same?
