Joules Knitwear - the quality?

Been looking at the Joules knitwear, I've never bought from them before, so I wanted to ask about the quality? Looking at the fabric content , a lot of them are acrylic - not something I would expect for an expensive jumper...I really want to know if they bobble a lot, or lose shape when you wash them? Are they worth it?

I have two jumpers from Joules. Imo they are good quality, they haven't bobbled and have washed well. But I would wait for a discount code personally.

Had two v necks that bobbled really badly would prob be ok if I could be arsed to shave off but didn't

Uniqlo much better

Really rubbish. Two very bobbly jumpers went back after one wear. Really disappointing.

I'm glad I asked on here before buying. Hmm, I might try one, but only when I have a discount code.

As i saId previously, I've never bought from Joules. I thought, with their high prices, that they would be good quality. That's really disappointing that they bobble so badly. How can they justify charging the amount they do then? The one I was interested in is predomisntly viscose, and wool. However, that question applies to the acrylic and polyamide jumpers. I guess you could just buy one similar for a much cheaper price.
Thanks for recommending uniqlo. I'll have a look at their website. I normally buy all my clothes from just one or two places, but they don't do anything I like this year, so I'm shopping around a bit more!

Posted just before I saw your post Cherrypie, thank you very much for the code, very kind of you to share. I might buy the jumper I want, and see how it is, definitely not paying full price if they do turn out to bobble!
