How the hell do I open this??!!!

I bought a Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer earlier today but am completely befuddled how to get it to work 😂. I have removed the plastic cap and the tamper-proof wrapping, held it upside down, pressed it on my skin, shaken it vigorously, rubbed it but still nothing is coming out at all. What am I missing?? I accept I am probably being really, really daft!!!

Do you twist the top bit round?

BellaVida · 04/09/2018 13:40

I've had a similar one and the 'nib' or end bit is sprung and you have to press it in to get the product flowing.

Woo hoo! Success!!! Not sure how but I kept twisting and pressing and something has worked at last and I finally have concealer! Thank you Smile

You twist them until the product comes out. No need to press down, it just takes a while to get to the top the first time.
If you peel back the label you'll see that the sponge bit is antimicrobial and shouldn't get wet (just cleaned with a tissue). I have tested this aspect thoroughly and can confirm it's true Grin

Thanks for clarifying that twisting is the key Nothing. I used it again this morning and was definitely more successful than yesterday in getting it to work consistently. There really ought to be some instructions with it as I was on the verge of just chucking it out in a temper yesterday!

Whats the verdict on the product? I keep thinking about buying it.

Also interested to know if it's any good?

kinseymilhone · 06/09/2018 18:49

I like it! I don't usually wear concealer (or much make up at all) and hate feeling "caked". This feels really light and certainly brightened up my under eye area. I bought it on a whim because I am a complete recent convert to Maybelline having discovered the "Fit Me" foundation and powder which is just brilliant and doesn't settle in my pores or lines at all but makes my skin look so much better without heavy coverage. My skin is quite dry and I'm 44 and have quite a few lines unfortunately Smile

I love that - far better than most high end stuff & good fir covering the odd spot too. Only thing I’ve noticed is the little cap comes off really easily in my make up bag.

I use this and really rate it. I'm nearly at the end and will definitely repurchase whuchbus unusual for me. I've used loads of concealers and this is one of the best. Good for under eyes (I use it by itself sometimes but often tapped over erase paste or phwoar paint as I have dark circles) butbits just as good over spots or dark patches. Fab stuff.

'Whuchbus' ???? That should be, 'which is'
