Pyjamas - where can I find the perfect pair?

QuoadUltra · 03/09/2018 23:21

I need to improve my bed game and buy some presentable pjs.

Not the Minnie Mouse thrown ons from the supermarket, stained ex-sports kit, or team away-day t-shirts that make up my current night time trousseau. I want sophistication.

Needs to be cosy. Any suggestions?

Does anyone want to chat jammies?

You can't beat a pair of Primark flannette ones tbh.

More upmarket is Cyberjammies though.

BikeRunSki · 08/09/2018 15:14

Hush

Sadik · 08/09/2018 15:23

I got some lovely ones from ASOS - these Monki ones are super soft & cosy and then some DKNY ones which are a bit more chic.

Whymustyoubringinthebirds · 08/09/2018 15:28

I got some super soft fine knit ones from next that are amazing

Thanks, the Next ones look a good shape but i’d prefer natural fibres.

Everyone has had the same idea with the DKNy ones - sold out Smile

Tkmaxx do good nightwesr and you can buy online if you dont like the trawl through in stores.

N0tfinished · 08/09/2018 18:36

I got some gorgeous cyberjammies in TKMAXX the other week. My preference is cottony breathable fabrics. These are cotton/modal and feel lovely

whiskyremorse · 08/09/2018 18:37

Hush pyjamas are amazing, let me know if you'd like a referral code for £10 off first order

Loonoon · 08/09/2018 20:55

I love Primark/Penney’s knitted cotton jersey pjs. They wash beautifully with no fading, shrinkage or pilling and come in a huge ranger] of colours and patterns to suit all tastes.

MarshaBradyo · 08/09/2018 20:57

Bodas

M0reGinPlease · 08/09/2018 20:59

I'm a total convert to the cuffed pyjama bottom. Stops annoying ride up in bed and fulfils your cosy brief. Next do some nice ones.

Veterinari · 08/09/2018 21:01

I buy men’s loungewear pyjamas in small sizes - lovely soft check long length pj trousers (with pockets!) and snug t shirts.
Cosy and smart

daisypond · 08/09/2018 21:03

I found it hard to find natural fibre PJs. Primark is your friend here and is now my go-to place for pyjamas.

Synecdoche · 08/09/2018 21:17

Gap have lovely 100% cotton pyjamas which are excellent quality and last for YEARS. 40% off at the moment online too!

holidaylady · 08/09/2018 21:21

Try bluebella for grown up PJ's. They have pockets in the trousers too

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 08/09/2018 21:22

I mostly wear Lands' End men's flannel pyjama bottoms with a long-sleeved t-shirt. Not stylish admittedly, but warm and comfortable and long enough to land on the top of my feet not flap around my ankles.

Oly5 · 08/09/2018 21:47

Boden cotton PJ bottoms are fab. Or white company

azaleanth90 · 08/09/2018 22:00

Uniqlo have some fab light flannel ones, plain or checked

QuoadUltra · 08/09/2018 22:12

AveA and everyone who suggested Primark, I’d forgotten I had heat flannel pjs from there before, although the buttons did rip in the was eventually.

I got DH and DFIL the Boden bottoms for me last year for Christmas. I just looked for women and there was nothing so maybe I’m too early in the season.

What is cyberjammies? Will google...

M&S usually do soft black jersey bottoms that are quite good. Hush also lovely but on the big side I find, I always trip over the bottoms. I like White Company PJs too.
I only ever buy black PJ bottoms now as they will go with any sort of top so can mix and match. Big comfy tops for slobbing around in or vests with built in support are what I usually choose to go with them. Also, as they’re black, I feel happy to wear them around the house in the evening and answer the door in them if I need to, without obviously being in pyjamas!

sourpatchkid · 08/09/2018 23:53

If you want pretty Sainsbury's do a great range

MotherofPearl · 08/09/2018 23:57

I spotted some nice pjs in John Lewis recently - their own range I mean.

intelligentPutty · 09/09/2018 10:54

The white company?

NotPennysBoat · 09/09/2018 11:03

I like stretchy black leggings very cheap from Tu (hate it when pj bottoms ride up my leg in bed!), with a huge slouchy sweater, long baggy tee or support vest depending on the weather. Also fulfils the 'ok to answer the door in'!
