Shoes

Hello,
Can anyone please recommend some smart, comfortable shoes? Ideally with a wide fit option. I like brogues but not too manly (tried on Clark's hambleton but not overly keen), or Mary Jane type shoes. Need something that's going to last so ballerina flats are out.
I'm a teacher so I'm on my feet a lot!

There's a nice pair of Mary Janes on the fitflop website

Flat form wedgey type brogues or loafers? Marks & Spencer have some really nice black patent ones - they look good with opaque tights, leggings, jeans or trousers (flared, Capri or straight leg). The little bit of height makes you feel a bit smarter. Dune, New Look do Leopard at £27.99 and Kurt Geiger all have some fab ones. They have to be the comfiest, most wearable shoes I own.

Gabor has some nice shoes and do a wide fit.

Sketchers do some leather shoes that are actually quite nice, and unbelievably comfortable. I'm in the same profession as you and they've literally been a blessing!

Thanks so much - will check them all out!
