late 30s - where do you clothes shop?

I'm needing some new clothes, especially as I'm losing weight. It wont be long before I can shop in the regular shops again rather than plus size, but it's been so long since I've been a regular size shopper that I don't know what the best shops are anymore.

I don't want to look older or younger than I am, or like I'm wearing a tent. I want to look my age. I like to look smart and for clothes to look expensive. I want to be one of these women who others look at for looking smart, clean, well put together.

What shops would you recommend? I quite like boden but not their prices but I'm not keen on shopping in places like primark either. It needs to be good quality. Ideally online for convienience.

I'm 42 with a low budget.

If I can spend a bit more I go to River Island & also just bought a Lipsy parka from Next. Sometimes go in Monsoon/ Accessorize.

Usually I go in Dorothy Perkins & New Look as I can get NHS discount. Also I go in Primark.

Footwear I get in the same shops or trainers from Shuh generally.

I wear a uniform for work & on days off I live in skinny jeans with tops/tees/jumpers & boots, trainers or ballet pumps; sometimes boots, opaques & a short shift dress; wear short dresses or vests & shorts / short skirts & sandals if it's hot.

At night I wear cami tops & jeans & heels or a dress.

I also wear parkas or biker jackets if it's colder.

In my 30s I was a lot heavier & wore loose tunics & leggings all the time so now I've lost weight I like to show off my figure & experiment with clothes in a fairly age appropriate way!!
