All Saints leather jackets.

I’ve been looking to invest in a decent leather jacket. All saints ones have been recommended a lot on here so I tried a few on. I loved the Cargo jacket with the quilted shoulders, but found that although it fit well on the shoulders, sleeves, I couldn’t zip it up.

The very trendy sales assistant said you wouldn’t really wear it zipped up and it should be worn open. Does that sound right? I realise I’m not at all fashionable, but for £318 is it strange that you’d spend all that money on something that doesn’t zip?

Any bigger and it would be too big, so maybe the fit just isn’t made for my muffin top!

I have an All Saints Bale leather jacket. I never wear it zipped up.

Forgot to add I got it last year for £152 in the sale. Worth holding on til after Christmas for sale prices!

I never zip up mine. But if you want to be able to, then just try on different styles until you get one that you can zip up and you like the fit of.
However they do give quite a bit after the first few wears. When I buy leather jackets, they are very snug on me at first wear, even the sleeves.

I have the Bales style and though one size smaller than my ususl size I can do it up. It should loosen over time I am told.

I was going to buy an All Saints one last year, but I didn’t in the end for the same reason - looked like a straight jacket zipped up.

I bought a Mint Velvet one in the end. And guess what - I’ve never zipped it up

I’ve got a whistles one. I was also told that you shouldn’t zip them up. However I can zip mine up (and have on occasion when v cold). I don’t think I would have bought it without that option at least.

I have a Mango leather jacket that I can zip up but I've only ever done it if I'm freezing. It doesn't really look right zipped up. I usually wear a chunky scarf with my leather jacket if it's chilly out, but not cold enough for a proper winter coat, so I use that for extra warmth instead of zipping it.

Hi all I'm looking for an all saints leather jacket the balfern style I bought in a 10 and a 12 10 was far to tight couldn't fit any jumper under I did try it on with a jumper but just couldn't move very restricted .
Size 12 turned up and that was way too big in the shoulders front and arms .
I'm looking at a few other all saints online now .
I had ordered two river island leather jackets one In a 10 and a 12 the premuim one for £160 well I tried the 12 on as that came first and was too big the leather looks cheap and for £160 I expected a little more . I have never bought a leather biker style jacket before I'm 41 and 9 stone 7 . Trying to find one perfect for me it is a nightmare
Anyone looking for one still or has one I like some feedback etc thank you

I can but I rarely zip it up. Usually wear with an oversize scarf if it gets chilly

I have a Balfern in size 6, no problem zippng it up but I would say it definitely makes my boobs look even smaller!

Hi thank you for posting . I'm going to order a few all saints ones and jigsaw and maybe a mint velvet one :) thanks for the feedback .

The ten in the balfern came up so tight though it nearly ripped when I was putting on the jacket . I'm about 10-12 . Even when I bend both arms it's tight across shoulders / back . Real tight in arms too :(
Just given up with that style completely . I have been checking you tube and blogs for reviews etc to help me but best thing I can do is just order :)
