Looking for the above really! Been diagnosed with cancer so looking to make my life as simple as possible, however clothes and makeup are my armour! I'm looking for any suggestions for good toiletries and make up without any nasties in them! Thank you Smile

Neals yard, Tropic

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I use a brand called Sukin, you can buy online or in Holland and Barrett and sometimes in TKMAXX. I use coconut oil and a wash cloth to remove my makeup. LUSH products are also nice! They do makeup as well although I've never tried it so can't recommend.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. There are so many great natural and organic brands out there so you definitely won’t have to compromise on your beauty armour!

Some of my favourites are Balm balm and Pai for skincare
Green people, Ilia and RMS beauty for makeup
Faith in nature for hair products
Coola for sun cream/SPF products

I've recently converted to the Neals Yard rose balm (eBay, much cheaper) and it's just fab on my skin, I use it as a hot cloth cleanser but also as an eye cream at night, and rub a little into eyebrows and lashes and also as a lip balm.
Green People are very good and have a few travel sizes of things to try.
Burts Bees tinted lip balms are fab, as are their normal ones, and the almond hand cream smells amazing (heavy, I use it on my feet!).

I really like Tropic, they have a great range of products. Weleda is also good for shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc. Nothing nasty in either brand. I've been replacing my old products with natural alternatives over the last few years, and most have been a huge success.
I also use almond oil as a facial oil and hair oil, and mix it with my Weleda conditioner for a deep conditioning mask.

Try lovelula, green people, balmbalm, neals yard. Oh and Elsa deodorant. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis OP. Thanks to you and stay strong 💪🏼

Thanks everyone I managed to get some sample bargains of toiletries from Holland and Barrett yesterday and I've ordered some foundation samples for green people. My DH will be having kittens, I'm also slowing changing over cleaning products etc as I go along!
