Want to treat myself to some posh hair care but would love some recommendations. Have used Aveda & Kerastase in the past. My hair is long, wavy, fairly thick & highlighted.

I love Paul Mitchell The Conditioner (leave in)
And Percy&Reed

I recently got a new bottle of Aveda Shampure (DH bought it for me) love the smell and it's very mild .
We used to buy the 1 litre but now my hair is short , the 250ml is fine. Even teenage DS uses it .

Not sure if this falls into the 'luxe' catagory but Ogx shampoo and conditioner is lovely.

XingMing · 02/09/2018 18:02

Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner work for me and DS.

sourpatchkid · 02/09/2018 18:12

I wanted to love mane and tail but hated it, it did nothing for my thick hair

TantricTwist · 02/09/2018 19:19

Mane and Tail turned mine and my DD fine long hair into a tangled mess.

I love Aveda’s Be Curly range. Works well even on my fine, dry hair

Shylo · 03/09/2018 00:11

I aldon’t ata end up back with redken’s all soft range - smells lovely and leaves my hair feeling fabulous

dundee12 · 03/09/2018 19:05

Thanks all, going to go back to Aveda first.

Christophe Robin! Pretty expensive but smells amazing. Have tried a few different ones and all are lovely

dundee12 · 03/09/2018 19:34

saw that brand & was tempted.

I've just bought Bumble and Bumble shampoo and conditioner and used for the first time morning. My hair seems to like it, and it has retained more body and bounce today than usual.

ThePricklySheep · 03/09/2018 19:39

I’ve used Paul Mitchel in the past and loved it. Need sulphate free these days on my awful scalp so can’t use it now.

Mokepon · 03/09/2018 19:46

pureology. it's the business.

Nanasueathome · 03/09/2018 19:49

Davines
I had a small bottle in the Liberty advent calendar last year and have since bought a bigger bottle
Lots of different types/options
Really made a difference to my hair

If your hair is wavy and you want to encourage the wave/curl, have a look at Trepadora.
