Philip Kingsley Elasticiser

margaurette · 03/09/2018 08:41

Aussie 3 minute miracle.

I leave it on overnight when my hair needs a real drink.

Branleuse · 03/09/2018 08:46

Elvive fine cocunut mask in a tub
My hair is bleached coloured and dry so ive tried quite a few conditioners including expensive ones and this one is the best ive tried and a total bargain

Olaplex 3

Philip Kingsley Elasticiser

Lee Stafford Hair Growth (this smells gorgeous)

FreeButtonBee · 03/09/2018 20:16

Olaplex 3 is fabulous. I wasn’t that impressed with elastisizer but I have fine highlighted Greasy hair so not sure I am target audience.

emma6776 · 03/09/2018 20:36

Superdrug do a knock off of Elasticizer which is far better IMO and about £3. They also sell a kit called pureplex - a bit like a DIY version of all the Olaplex stages. It’s a faff but I’ve had good results from it and it’s only about £11 (approx 4 treatments worth).

Jillcrewespony · 03/09/2018 20:39

Windle and Moodie day and night cream is amazing. Totally worth the price.

ElizabethAllen · 03/09/2018 20:43

I've found Philip Kingsley's Moisture Extreme Conditioner to work better on my hair than the Elasticizer. I took a tube of it on 2 week beach/pool holiday and used it both as a normal conditioner and a mask and my coloured and highlighted hair is in far better condition now. I think All Beauty do a travel size tube of it.

Brush coconut oil through your hair, leave for ten minutes, then wash it out

missyB1 · 03/09/2018 20:45

Mine was like straw after my holiday, I have dry frizzy coarse hair anyway. But my new favourite discovery is Palmers olive oil hair mask, shampoo and conditioner.

PouchofDouglas · 03/09/2018 21:45

Aussie not working

Mine was the same last year. I tried everything from Kerastase to elasticizer to olaplex. The only thing that worked for me was a combination of deep conditioning using Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask and Briogeo

LizandFlo · 03/09/2018 23:05

Bugger, pressed post too soon...
And.... Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Gel-to-Oil Overnight Repair Treatment

The snapped off front bits have started growing back finally!

Klorane leave in hair mask, transformed my hair!

QuoadUltra · 03/09/2018 23:15

If you really mean it about no expense spared... this stuff is the absolute shizzle here.

It is so good.

LaCerbiatta · 04/09/2018 09:52

It's late for this now but may be useful for next year. I followed this advice I saw on a magazine and had zero damage from beach /pool this summer. Take with you to the beach or pool some conditioner for dry hair or repair mask. I was taking these mini tubs of pantene intensive repair conditioner but I'm not sure ypu can find them here. Anyway, after coming out of the sea/pool just apply it and leave all day. It protects the hair and keeps the moisture in. It's amazing!

EnidButton · 04/09/2018 15:01

Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer

And these m.lookfantastic.com/redken-heatcure-at-home-self-heating-mask-100ml/11346908.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4Ya85sCh3QIVy7TtCh3M-AvREAAYASAAEgISkfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=COyWwujAod0CFRNxGwods70OZw are the absolute dogs bollocks when it comes to smoothing and softening ends.

Never used both during the same wash. Elasticizer is what I use when my hair needs a boost of body, strength and smoothness and the Heatcure masks are what I use when my ends feel rough and dry. Smooth the mask through your ends throughly and leave it on for at least 20 minutes.

Illegallyblonde123 · 04/09/2018 15:44

I’ve said this on a couple of other posts but simple, natural and non expensive treatment is egg.

Apply it to damp hair (not soaking) and leave on for about five minutes, rinse and then shampoo.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/09/2018 17:40

Elasticizer saved my hair after a recent holiday. I'd love to know more about the Superdrug version though.

Emma - do you have a link?
