Any French Perfumistas around?

Kicking myself a LOT since leaving France. During my stay, I visited the historical part of the town centre and it's beautiful cobbled alley roads dotted with artisan craft shops. One of them was a perfumerie packed with lovely French perfume. I tested a few, one in particular smelled of nothing but the alcohol carrier but 20 minutes after applying, the most beautiful smell developed. Another half hour and it was stunning. And it lasted

I remember that it was 49 Euro, that it had matching candles in the range, and there were about 6 scents in the range. Another fragrance was Patchouli based, another smelled like parma violets. I have no clue what it's called but can almost remember the bottle and would probably identify the particular one I liked if I were to see pictures.

Is there ANY hope for me finding this bottle? I won't be returning to the area and I don't know anyone else going. The fragrance is well and truly under my skin (so to speak) and I really am kicking myself for not going back.

Can anyone help?!

I’m gonna take a bet on Fragonard, which I discovered this summer. They ship to the UK too!

Alas, I'm still on the hunt. Thanks all for the links - as beautiful as they all look, it isn't The One.

I'll continue to search - I'm even trawling through Google Maps of Hyeres to see if I can spot the street. I'm not getting very far

By Jove - I've only gone and found it!
Impressed by my investigative skills - maybe I should be a sleuth

It's called Villa Flora and the fragrance is Cleo. I'm convinced it's The One.

Won't deliver to the UK though

Any ideas oh wise ones?!

I was in Hyéres, Auld.
In the older part of town.

Name of the store is Caroline en Provence - deli up front and fragrance at the back.

Ah, OK.
Can't help by going to find the shop, then, it's a bit of a drive...

AdaColeman · 02/09/2018 17:14

Try Comptoir Beauté Santé .com, looks as though they ship world wide.

Crwban · 02/09/2018 19:05

Auld ahhh thanks for considering it though - much appreciated. Are you living there?

I work there, live a short drive away.
Might check those perfumes out if they're as long-lasting as you say, so thanks for the tip. Smile

Now I really want to try this one! I wonder if you can buy it in Paris.
