Anyone used a Derma Roller at home?

Watched a review video on Facebook last night and thought ooh go on then. Ordered the roller, serum and cleaner used on the review. Lovely amazon delivered it all today. Watched a few YouTube videos on correct method and had a bash. I look like a boiled lobster. Please someone tell me that the redness will go down. Was supposed to be cheering myself up with a luxury treatment. Ffs Angry

Hi yes my skin was red and swollen after what size needle are you using ? I've read not to use over 1mm on the face ? The redness goes down after a day or so but depends on what size of roller u used

Don't worry it will go down likely over night . I just wouldn't put on make up tonight if possible and just moisturise a lot

Phew thanks. I used 0.5mm. Have used serum and moisturiser so hopefully I will look 21 again in the morning 🙂

Down time is very normal with a dermaroller as it drags the skin when the needles are rolled in and it so though the needle depth is only 0.5mm the holes are larger. That's why you'll never see medical professionals using a roller.
