Jumpsuit for work

Hi all, I posted a little while ago about a jumpsuit I'd found and wasn't sure on. The overwhelming majority told me to go for it. I didn't, mostly because I would have nowhere I wear that particular one to and I don't have the money to justify buying something "just because"

But, but but but, I've decided now that I want one so I have been looking at ones in a pinstripe or darker colours with the vague idea that I might be able to get away with it for work.

For context, my office is a formal environment, I usually wear a knee length dark skirt with a blouse and heels or a knee length suit dress with heels and a jacket. Would you reckon a jumpsuit like the image attached would be ok in an office environment? I'm a bit worried about looking a bit weird.

Depends. Are you that tall and slim?
Are bare arms ok in your office? Would your boss be thinking ‘where’s her jacket?’

AppleKatie - I'm slim, 5ft 4. This is me in the other jumpsuit.

I should be ok without a jacket as a lot of the other female staff wear bare arms. I don't tend to, but that's just taste.

I think yes but with a different shoe than the ones the model is wearing.

You look lovely in that one. I don’t think it’s conservative enough for my work place but you know yours better...

I’m glad you didn’t get the other jumpsuit - you have a great figure and a jumpsuit looks good on you - just not one made using my nan’s curtains. A navy / pin stripe would be lovely though!

I do like a high heel. I'll probably be going with navy stilettos with an ankle strap. Closed toe.

What a shame it's out of stock - it's fab. It would be fine at my workplace (different shoes, obviously).

You would look lovely in it but how would you feel being naked in the loo?
I’m not sure I would be comfortable with that at work for some reason 🙂
