Help me find a bag.

I am really struggling to find my holy grail of a handbag: leather, shoulder bag with good wide straps, generously sized as I do carry a lot of crap and with an inner divider splitting it in two. Can you please help? Everything I have found in the high street seems to be open (no good as I walk loads and winter is coming) and flimsy or has no divider. Money is no issue, so please hit me with your ideas. Thank you in advance.

Would Coach Eddie 42 be close? Straps might be too thin but there are two of them?

My Furla bag hits all your points except the internal divider. Might be worth a look?

@viviene that's a nice bag. Will try to find it in a store to see up close as I am so fussy with what I want. @motherforinshirtballs i love furla bags! Which one do you have? I think I am going to go for the large Metropolis.

I have the Coach Eddie 42 and whilst it looks beautiful is pretty impractical for work and holds little. It is wider at the bottom than at the top so you can't get anything big in each of the two sections. My Mulberry Bayswater (yawn) is much better.

Look at Osprey's Luna Leather Hobo.
I take it you've looked at Aspinal's (the Marylebone tote is good but avoid the gimmick of the tech upgrade) and Kate Spade?

I am not a fan of hobo style bags and they need to be completely closed as I walk and don't want contents getting wet. I love more of a structured style.

The aspinal one looks good but no divider. I simply cannot find a leather bag with a divider. Can anyone please help?

I used to have a Michael Kors with a divider that drove me wild. This is the closest I can see.

Are you looking for a particular colour?

I have Fossil bags with inner zipped dividers. Had mine a while but current styles may have the same

@fiveletters that's the style I am looking for but still no divider and it's open at the sides. Dreading things getting wet when walking.
@chishandfips33 will check fossil. Used to love them and don't really mind the colour as long as it isn't too light as don't want it stained from jackets/coats.

The pocket is the divider I think, it goes down the middle? Unless I’ve misunderstood what you mean by divider!

But it looks to still be open at the sides. What sort of fastening? I don’t know how there can be a divider and it close? What will it be attached to?

@fiveletters so basically what I am after is something just like the bag on your link but the zippy middle part acts as the divider and the whole bag closes with a top zip. The one on your link appears open and no good for rain. Not sure if I am making sense.
