Everyday hair

How much time do you spend on your hair in the mornings?
Is it washed everyday?
What is the minimum you do to look polished?

School run is fast approaching and I need a back to school run routine that is quick and easy. At the moment, I spend less than a minute on my hair in the mornings. A quick brush, tied in a ponytail and done. But I have to admit, it’s scruffy looking.

For special occasions, I will straighten/tong my hair and get the polished look. But I just don’t have time/cant be bothered to do this every morning. Also, it can’t be good for your hair to be straightened every day.

Please tell me your secret to no effort, beautiful hair because mine is rubbish.

I went through a phase of sorting out my hair the night before (when it was longer) - a nice wash, blow dry and maybe a curl - but that didn't last too long as term went on and I just wanted to sit and watch TV in the evenings haha Grin
My hair is also super straight and struggles to hold any wave or curl, so it all feels a bit pointless!
I have shoulder length hair at the moment and am considering going shorter so I don't have to worry about styling it too much...just got to bite the bullet!

I have a pixie cut which I'm growing out so it's a bit all over the place. Never the less I usually wash at night so the mornings is just a bit of dry shampoo and a comb/brush and style with a bit of putty/wax - takes about 2 mins tops.
