I just ordered this but am having buyer's remorse because they're so expensive.

Are these worth it? £110.

I have the spotty pair & love them but have been wearing Converse for years so wanting the same but different if that makes sense.

MenaMecca · 30/08/2018 23:09

I have a lot of Converse too but mostly unworn because they hurt.

I have these and they look nice on but like Mena I haven’t worn them much as they aren’t very comfortable. Suggest wearing them around the house a bit first to check if they rub before deciding whether to keep them. A couple of people have said that the high tops are really comfy.

PawneeParksDept · 30/08/2018 23:20

Oh damn it OP I didn't know about these and now I want the high tops and they're sold out in my size 😭

MenaMecca · 04/09/2018 09:19

Ok, so they're here. And they're cute, but a bit long. But it doesn't hurt because it's a bit long.

Do I keep it?

It's not love, but it's sold out so I can't decide whether to keep it or not.

How much will you wear them? To death keep them , occasionally send them back

MenaMecca · 04/09/2018 21:23

Not to death, as I have a lot of shoes.

I think they're gorgeous!
How about putting in some Scholl (or Boots own) flat shoe insoles? Having said this, I've never actually tried them, but keep meaning to. I have a high arch and flat shoes/trainers make me feel clumpy and hefty for some reason?

MenaMecca · 04/09/2018 22:55

So I've tried them with thick socks and now I'm beginning to really like them! lol

I have too many shoes though. :/

If they’re not comfortable you won’t wear them and you’ll have wanted your money. If you do wear them a lot, Converse don’t wear particularly well and you won’t get your money’s worth. I love Converse but they look like crap after a year, which I can cope with for £40 or less, not for £110.

MenaMecca · 04/09/2018 23:16

I also have these and they're still unworn because I tend to wear the same thing over and over. And save the special stuff for special occasion!

Still can't decide!

OP posts:
MenaMecca · 08/09/2018 01:30

Ok, so I am leaning towards returning it, mainly because I might think it's too precious and will end up not wearing it for fears of making it dirty.
