Parlux hairdryer - is it really worth £90?

So I've been thinking of getting a new hairdryer. I don't straighten and want to get a very lightweight small hairdryer.

So is a parlux really worth it? And if so which one do you have and would recommend? Open to other suggestions too

I bought my parlux over 10 years ago when I worked in a salon. Still works like it's fresh out the box

I had a big parlux for about 15yrs before it died. Got a new one like the one you linked. Had it about a year. Love it. Just as good as the old one without the arm ache. As a pp said, when I borrow anyone else's I can't believe how rubbish they are. Can blow my frizzy wavy hair straight with a parlux, or now I use it with a diffuser for non-frizxy waves.

@HandOff this one Parlux Superturbo 3200 Compact Hair Dryer https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000GRYX0A/ref=cmswwrcppapi_MzgIBbK4H1T8Z

^^ that's the one I have Smile
Would buy again - I wash and dry my hair every sodding day and it makes it less of a chore (fine shoulder length hair)

yes best hairdryer I have had - I have a dyson as well and its no where near as good.

Nothing compares- I've had £40 hairdressers, but none of them came close to the power of a Parlux, and I've had mine five years. Prior to that I'd replace about every three as I'd go through phases thinking I could get something better. I'd return the amazon one and order a parlux if you can afford it as in the long run it's definitely saved me money and I wish I'd bought one ten years earlier.

@reddressblueshoes Thanks. I'm tempted to return the Amazon one and just get a Parlux.

Now I can't decide between getting the Parlux 3500 Super Compact (Non-ionic) for £70 or splashing out on the Parlux advance ceramic ionic for £100 ... Sad ... This is driving me all mad!

Definitely Parlux. You notice the difference when you have to use a hotel hairdryer Shock
I also have a Dyson. Prefer Parlux

HandOff · 31/08/2018 11:26

@HRTpatch Thanks! :) Which one do you have?
