Help accesorising dress for a wedding

Hello all.

I'm hoping for some advice on accesorising this dress for a wedding. I'll be wearing pointy ballerina shoes (arthritis feet means I can't wear heels at all) and my wedding & engagement rings are white gold.

I'm a bit lost as to colours for a bag, fascinator and jewellery. I was going to buy a burgundy bag and fascinator, but May be this will be too much?

I'm in my late 40s, have fair skin and mid to dark brown hair. I'm also not very daring, fashion-wise.

Hi - I would pick out the mustardy yellow from the print - or maybe the royal blue rather than going for the main colour of the dress. It's a pretty print so make the most of the pops of colour I reckon. What colour are your shoes?

Sorry, as the dress, that should have read at the end.

Having trouble posting with my phone! Thanks for your reply, SingingGoldfinch.

My shoes are a very similar wine colour as the dress.

I love the idea of picking out the pattern colours, especially the blue as it's really pretty.

Lovely dress :)
Agree about picking out the colour yellow or the blue.

Thanks BirthdayBlueBo

I'll start looking at blue and yellow fascinators now, and bags .

Very pretty dress. I would be aiming to co-ordinate with the blues I think. I actually love mustard and it is very in right now too, but it can be a tricky colour worn next to the face. Unless you are Amal Clooney who went the whole hog with mustard at the Royal Wedding (but it doesn't sound as though you have her colouring)

Thanks for those tips, BirthdayBlueBo I love both the shades of the blue and the shoes, and the bag!

I agree with using the blue, WildCherryBlossom it's probably my favourite colour.

I'll be looking for a blue fascinator and bag over the next few weeks.

Thanks for all the advice Smile
